•    Callum Roddie Elder was born in Sydney, Australia, on 27 January 1995.

•    His first club was Manly United, which he joined when he was six.

•    Manly’s most famous export to date is former Blackburn Rovers defender Lucas Neill.

•    When he was 16, Callum moved to England and joined Leicester City as a scholar.

•    The left-back signed his first professional deal in 2013, after two years at The King Power Stadium. Callum became a regular in The Foxes Under-21 side the following season as they finished sixth in the U21 Premier League.

•    Callum joined League Two side Mansfield Town in January 2015 and made his professional debut in a 2-1 defeat away at Burton Albion. He would go on to make 21 appearances for The Stags as his loan deal there was extended until the end of the season.

•    Last August saw Callum move to Sky Bet League One side Peterborough United on loan. He made his debut for The Posh in a 1-1 draw at home to Gillingham.

•    His first professional goal arrived in October as he grabbed the third in a 4-0 win over Doncaster Rovers.

•    Callum’s time at London Road was cut short after he suffered a foot injury in a 2-0 defeat to Blackpool in December which would keep him out of football for four months. In total he appeared 21 times The Posh, scoring once.

•    Elder is eligible to play for Australia, Scotland and England. In October 2013, Elder received his first call-up by Australia Under-20s to play in the AFC Under-19 Championship qualifiers making his debut in a 3-0 win over Chinese Taipei.
