The Black Stars are second in Group G after their opening pair of games. They began with a 1-0 win at home to Ethiopia before defeat by the same scoreline in Johannesburg against South Africa last time out.

Zimbabwe currently prop up the group with one point from their opening two games.

New Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac was appointed on Friday and he's included Tariqe in his first, 32 man, squad for the home game at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday 9 October, kick-off 5pm, and the return fixture in Harare three days later.

Tariqe has earned four caps for Ghana since making his debut a year ago. He also has one goal, that coming in a 5-1 victory over Qatar.

The 25-year-old joined The Bees in January 2020 and has gone on to appear 61 times for Thomas Frank's side, scoring five goals. The winger's seasonal debut came a week ago, playing 71 minutes of our record 7-0 Carabao Cup win over Oldham Athletic.
