Cycle to Brentford’s opening home fixtures of the 2025/26 season and take advantage of free, secure bike parking and bike maintenance.
The scheme is part of the club’s Bike to Brentford initiative that aims to make it easier for fans to cycle to matchdays at Gtech Community Stadium.
More than 450 fans cycled to our designated Bike to Brentford fixture against Manchester United last season, tripling the number of cyclists compared to a usual matchday.
Fan travel is Brentford's biggest source of carbon emissions, contributing to 50 per cent of the club's yearly total, as reported in the club's sustainability report.
Over two matches supported by Bike to Brentford, we were able to reduce the impact of fan travel by eight tonnes of carbon emissions, equivalent to the yearly electricity consumption of five homes (based on the average UK household).
Thanks to our fans’ support and positive feedback from the day, we’re continuing our activity to help fans who cycle to the Gtech.
Where can I park my bike on matchday?
We’re bringing back our temporary bike parks to create additional bike storage on matchday. Supplied by Wheelskeep, the bike parks are secure, staffed at all times and provide storage for items such as helmets and e-bike batteries.
Temporary bike parks will be located outside the Bees Superstore for the following home fixtures:
Aston Villa, Saturday 23 August (kick-off 3pm)
Chelsea, 13 September (kick-off 8pm)
Manchester United, Saturday 27 September (kick-off 12.30pm)
Fans can also store their bikes at our permanent bike racks outside the northwest corner of the stadium on Lionel Road South. If you are cycling to the match, please remember to bring your own bike lock.
Need a repair?
Free bike maintenance will also be available on matchday at our temporary bike park.
An experienced mechanic will be available to make minor repairs and adjustments to wheels, brakes, gears, pedals and saddle. Use this opportunity to have your bike serviced to ensure it’s safe and ready for the road.
For more information on parking locations, maintenance and opening hours, visit the Bike to Brentford page of our website.
E-bikes - no Lime bike service in Hounslow
If hiring an e-bike, please note that as of August 2025 the Borough of Hounslow has cut service to Lime. If you enter Hounslow on a Lime bike, the bike motor will turn off and you will have to pedal manually. You will not be able to end your ride anywhere in Hounslow. The nearest location to park a Lime bike is south of Kew Bridge (Borough of Richmond, still serviced by Lime).
For e-bike rental in Hounslow, you are recommended to use Forest or VOI. Use their respective apps to find a parking location near to Gtech Community Stadium. E-bike parking is not currently available at the stadium or at our permanent or temporary bike parks.
Use this map of Forest and VOI service areas to plan your journey. Please use the Lime app to check where you can finish your journey before you set off.
Why Bike to Brentford?
Our fan sustainability survey found that 91 per cent of Brentford supporters are proud that the club is taking action on sustainability, and 71 per cent want opportunities to get involved in sustainable activity, such as Bike to Brentford.
Fan travel is one of Brentford’s biggest sources of greenhouse gas emissions. As part of our aim to improve our impact on the environment, we want to get as many Bees fans as possible cycling to matches.
Many Brentford fans already cycle to the Gtech on matchdays, taking advantage of cycle highways that pass through west London and even travelling in supporters’ groups in the lead up to kick-off.
On Bike to Brentford, James Beale, head of sustainability and community, said: “Initiatives like this are how we bring Brentford fans along with us on our sustainability journey. It’s great to see that there was an appetite to keep Bike to Brentford going into the new season.
“With so many of our fans living locally to the Gtech, we hope supporters taking part find that cycling to the match is safe, accessible and a great way to build bonds with other fans.”
