Travel and transport

Travelling by train

Direct trains will run from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street every hour on matchday, taking three hours.

The last direct train back to London on matchday is at 8.43pm, arriving at Euston at midnight.

Return tickets to London are likely to sell out. We recommend you book your tickets as soon as possible.

Local travel to the ground

The easiest way to get to Anfield from the city centre is by bus. Service 917 Express from Commutation Row (near Liverpool Lime Street) runs every 15 minutes. Services 17, 26, 926 and 927 also run to the stadium.

Walking from Lime Street station to Anfield will take just under an hour.

Travelling by car

Driving from London to Liverpool take just over four hours. Find car parks run by the council or privately here.

There is a resident only parking scheme in operation around Anfield. Any illegally parked cars will incur a fine and may be removed.

Ticketing information – digital tickets are in use for this fixture

Tickets for this fixture will be distributed digitally. You will receive your ticket(s) by email ahead of the match. Please follow the instructions on the email to get your ticket ready on your phone.

For those that have requested a physical ticket or have sent a duplicate ticket request, the away ticket office is located under the Kop stand.

Any duplicate ticket requests must be sent to Liverpool by the Brentford box office. Please contact Brentford's box office with any enquiries ahead of matchday.

If you’re collecting your ticket at Anfield, please remember to bring ID.

Please also observe and respect the family friendly seating. Anyone who holds a ticket in this area is reminded that they should be seated for the duration of the match.

Accessibility

Parking at the ground is available for Blue Badge holders. This must be booked in advance. Email [email protected] to book.

For away fans, disabled drop-off locations, changing places toilets, audio headsets and a dedicated stewarding team are all available at Anfield. For any other enquiries, speak to Brentford’s team at [email protected].

Your matchday at the Anfield

Bees fans are welcome in pubs around the ground but The Arkles is known as the away fan pub near Anfield.

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times. Under 16s without an adult will not be permitted entry to the stadium.

Visiting fans will enter the ground at gates Q and R, accessible via Anfield Road from the direction of 97 Avenue. Turnstiles open two hours before kick-off.

Only bags size A5 or smaller will be permitted inside the ground. Stewards will conduct a body and bag search of all fans on arrival. There is no bag storage facility for away fans.

Liverpool has a licensed safe standing area installed in rows 6-35 in the away section.
