Travel and transport - important notice about rail travel

By train - disruptions to East Midlands Railway services will affect your journey home

Fans should be aware that due to disruptions to East Midlands Railway services on matchday, the last train from Liverpool Lime Street to London Euston will be at 19:43.

Services after this time will be either an overnight rail replacement from Liverpool Lime Street with changes at Stockport and Nottingham, or an overnight train from Liverpool Central station with changes at Chester and Crewe.

Rail services from Liverpool Lime Street to London are set to resume as normal from 08:10 on Sunday 28 April.

Please use the National Rail journey planner to check your route before setting off and plan your route home in the evening.

For fans travelling to Goodison Park by train before kick-off, direct trains run from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street station every hour and take approximately 2 hours 15 minutes.

From there, it is a short walk or train to Liverpool Central Station, where you can get a train to Kirkdale, the closest station to Goodison Park.

Alternatively, fans can walk to Goodison Park in around 45 minutes from Liverpool Lime Street, or take a taxi from the rank outside the station.

By bus

Buses between Liverpool Lime Street, from St John’s Lane, and Goodison Park, from Walton Lane, run frequently before, during and after kick-off.

As well as the dedicated express services, local routes from Liverpool City Centre include services 19 and X3, which stop outside the Park End Stand, while services 20, 21, 311 and 345 stop on County Road, a short walk from the ground.

All services depart from Queen Square Bus Station.

By car

It is recommended to use the M6 and exit at junction 26 to reach Goodison Park.

Car parking is available at Stanley Park car park (L4 0TQ) or Utting Avenue Car Park (L4 7UR), approximately half a mile from Goodison Park at the junction of Priory Road and Utting Avenue. Car parking prices are displayed upon entry.

There is a resident parking scheme in place in the surrounding streets of Goodison Park which is strictly enforced. Parking in surrounding streets may lead to you being fined and your vehicle may be clamped or removed.

The roads surrounding Goodison Park are closed two hours before kick-off. A full road closure will be in place 45 minutes before kick-off, and remains in place for 15-30 minutes after the final whistle.

Ticketing information

For any ticketing enquiries on matchday, the box office is situated in the Goodison Road stand.

Any duplicate ticket requests must be sent to Everton by the Brentford Box Office. Please contact Brentford's Box Office with any enquiries ahead of the matchday.

If collecting your ticket at Goodison Park, please remember to bring ID.

Your matchday at Goodison Park

The away supporter section is located on Bullen’s Road and can be accessed through turnstiles 53-60.

Liverpool city centre has many options for food and drink before heading to the match.

Everton’s matchday fan zone opens two hours before kick-off, offering food, refreshments, music, giveaways and live performances.

The Fans Supporting Foodbanks collection point is also based in this area. The foodbank welcomes all ambient food products and toiletries.

There is a cash point available between the Dixie Dean statue and the Park End gates and one on Goodison Road opposite the stadium's main reception.
