Last night played host to another successful Sporting Dinner with legendary jockey Sir AP McCoy OBE. The evening was co-sponsored by the Brentford FC Lifeline Society and took place at the Radisson Blu Heathrow. The guests were treated to many stories from the career of the most successful jockey in racing history. Sir AP rode a record 4,358 winners and is also the only man to have won the English, Irish, Welsh, and Scottish Grand Nationals as well as the Cheltenham Gold Cup. His glittering career was recognised in 2016 with a knighthood and OBE.

The compere for the evening was top Comedian Mickey Pugh, and during the evening guests were given the opportunity to bid on items such as a framed football boot signed the Brazilian Legend Pele, tickets for the top London Theatre Show, Phantom of the Opera with a behind the scenes tour, and a framed England shirt signed by Jimmy Greaves.

Also attending on the night were Dean Smith, First Team Coach, Richard O Kelly, Assistant First Team Coach, and Brentford FC Legends, Terry Evans and Marcus Gayle.
