On Thursday 23 November, Brentford Football Club hosted 300 guests at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow Hotel for a Sporting Dinner with guest speaker, Sir Geoff Hurst.
The event, which was sponsored by the BFC Lifeline Society, was attended by the likes of Terry Evans, Sam Saunders, Jonathan Douglas, Paul Gibbs, Andy McCulloch and Marcus Gayle. Also attending were Head Coach Dean Smith, Assistant Head Coach Thomas Frank, Chairman Cliff Crown and CEO Mark Devlin.
Amongst the auctioned items was the chance to meet Sir Geoff, have a photograph with him and receive a signed replica ‘66 England World Cup Shirt.
