Shaleum Logan’s contract has been cancelled ahead of its intended expiry date so he can prepare for his new club’s early start to the 2014/2015 season.

The 26-year-old defender, who has already agreed to sign for Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen after Mark Warburton announced he was no longer part of his plans, will sign for The Dons earlier than expected.

Aberdeen will begin a week-long training camp in Dublin next Monday (June 16) to prepare them for their Europa League campaign that begins on July 3.

Professional footballers contracts normally run to June 30 and by that date Aberdeen will have already undertaken two weeks of pre-season training.

The Club wishes Shaleum every success at Aberdeen.
