We are still playing games behind closed doors at present but some of the normal routines are in place at our new home. One of those will be that Peter Gilham – the longest-serving matchday announcer in the country – will be at the game, as he has been at all our home games at our new stadium. There have been the usual matchday announcements of teams and goal scorers and he will also be reading out your messages.
The Bees welcome Nottingham Forest to our new stadium on Saturday, 20 March, in a match that will kick-off at 12.30pm. The game will, unfortunately, be behind closed doors but will be broadcast live on Sky Sports. We hope fans will be able to hear Peter and have a little more Brentford coming in to their homes.
As part of this, we are collating messages for Peter to read out at this game. It is intended this will continue at our remaining home games until we can welcome fans back. We will record them and share them with fans.
If you have a message, please send it to [email protected] by 3pm tomorrow, Friday. Please keep them short so we can read as many out as possible. Please note, we cannot guarantee reading out all messages but will try to read as many as possible.
