Referee: Robert Jones

Assistant Referees:Nigel Lugg and Richard Wild

Fourth Official: Trevor Kettle

This will be the Merseyside official's sixth game in charge of The Bees, having joined the ranks of EFL officials before the 2016/17 season.

Jones' first assignment in the second tier was our trip to Barnsley in April 2017. The game ended in a 1-1 draw; Florian Jozefzoon scoring the equaliser before Jota missed a second-half penalty. 12 months on, he took charge of our 1-0 win over Ipswich Town at Griffin Park, Neal Maupay scoring the only goal from the penalty spot following a foul on Sergi Canos.

His games last term were a pair of defeats; a 1-0 reverse at home to Bristol City in Thomas Frank's first game in charge and February's 2-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest. This campaign he was in charge of our home defeat to Huddersfield Town in early November.

So far this campaign, Jones has shown 57 yellow cards in 17 matches across four competitions.
