The Brentford FC Community Sports Trust have a team of 18 riding in the 100 mile Ride London event taking place today and have set a fundraising target of £10,000, which they aim to invest in employing a new trainee. So far in excess of £8,000 has been raised. The more funds that are pledged will further develop the capacity and sustainability of the new role. Can you support the team towards its goal of creating a new opportunity?

The group comprises of three teams of peloton relay riders and six individual riders and is a complete mix of cycling experience and fitness levels including Trust and Club staff including: former captain and current Brentford FC coach Kevin O'Connor; Head of Medical Neil Greig; Club Director Nity Raj; Commercial Manager Mike Sullivan; Community Trust staff Lee Doyle, Luke and Paul Skelhorn and Jay Reza; Mark Burridge from Bees Player, and Andrew Telfer of Wilmott Dixon. Each rider has been presented with a special edition cycling shirt and training sessions have been taking place leading up to the event.
