Brentford B will round off their stay in Holland on Saturday morning when they face Jong AZ Alkmaar in a 10am kick-off local time at the AFAS Training Complex.

The young Bees have been in the country for a match with Jong PSV as well as a couple of training days before they finish their trip against AZ. The side picked up a 1-1 draw last time out in Eindhoven as Ryan Trevitt’s goal was cancelled out late by the Dutch side.

About Jong AZ

Jong AZ are the reserve side for AZ Alkmaar and they compete in the Eerste Divisie which is the second tier of Dutch football. They are currently seventh in the league table having collected 24 points from their 15 games. Their last match in the league was against Jong Ajax where they claimed a 1-1 draw. Prior to that they beat Roda 2-0 and beat VVV 2-1 away from home.

Last time out

It was a strong showing from the B Team in their first match in Holland. They came up against a talented PSV side who kept the ball well for large parts of the game. Ryan Trevitt managed to get Brentford in front in the first half before the Dutch side hit back seven minutes from time.
