Brentford B will welcome West London neighbours Queens Park Rangers to Jersey Road on Friday afternoon in a behind closed doors fixture.

The 2:30pm kick-off will see the young Bees face the Under-21 side from QPR as Neil MacFarlane’s side aim for yet another positive performance and result. The team are yet to taste defeat since late August and they have picked up some excellent results having beaten Under-21 sides from Millwall, Bournemouth and Blackburn Rovers whilst also progressing in the London Senior Cup after beating Corinthian-Casuals in the First Round of the competition.

The opposition

QPR’s Under-21s compete in the Professional Development League South and are currently placed in fifth after seven matches. The team have won three, drawn three and lost one of their opening games with their last match a 3-3 draw with Charlton Athletic.

It was Charlton who took the lead early on before QPR levelled through Rafferty Pedder on 24 minutes. A Charlton own goal in first half stoppage time had the West London team ahead going into the break before Charlton pulled level eight minutes after the restart. George Thomas then had QPR back in front on the hour, but a determined Charlton side ensured the points were shared with just under 20 minutes to play.

Last time out

It was a fourth consecutive win for Neil MacFarlane’s side last time out as they beat Corinthian-Casuals 1-0 at Woking’s Laithwaite Community Stadium in late September. Kyreece Lisbie got the only goal of the game in what was a performance where the side dominated throughout. Watch the best of the action below.
