Brentford B will face Huddersfield Town B on Saturday afternoon in a behind closed doors fixture.

Neil MacFarlane’s side will head to St George’s Park in positive form having beaten AS Monaco Under-21s 4-1 earlier in the week away from home. The B Team are unbeaten since late November having also picked up wins over the likes of Aston Villa Under-21s, Erith & Belvedere and Peterborough United Under-21s.

They will take on a Huddersfield team looking to bounce back from their 3-2 defeat against Lincoln City on Tuesday in the Central League Cup.

About Huddersfield Town B

Huddersfield go into the match looking to bounce back from that defeat against Lincoln and prior to that they drew 3-3 in the Central League with Fleetwood Town. Huddersfield have also been competing in the Premier League Cup this season just like the young Bees. They too finished top of their group as they claimed 13 points from their six matches as they won four, drew once and lost once which means they have sealed themselves a place in the knockout stages of the competition.

Last time out

It was a stunning performance from the young Bees against AS Monaco earlier this week as they ran out 4-1 winners. The goals came from Yehor Yarmoliuk, Michael Olakigbe (2) and Ryan Trevitt.
