More than 8,000 US fans joined the Premier League and NBC Sports at the Premier League Mornings Live fan festival, which took place at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum at the end of last month. NBC Sports' studio team of host Rebecca Lowe and analysts Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and Tim Howard were joined by special guests including Premier League record goalscorer and Hall of Fame Inductee Alan Shearer, former Watford captain and US Men's National Team defender Jay DeMerit. Brendan Hunt who plays Coach Beard in the Ted Lasso TV series was also on hand to join in.

In total nearly 8,500 fans lined up from the early hours to attend the two-day event so they could watch Premier League action broadcast live, as well as having their photos taken with the Premier League Trophy and meet mascots and former players. The fans watched Brentford take on Leicester City as The Bees were included for the first time. Such was the atmosphere generated at the event that a minor earthquake that took place in the vicinity failed to be registered by those attending.

Alan Shearer said: "It is absolutely brilliant to see so many West Coast fans up and out so early in the morning. The atmosphere has been fantastic and we have had loads of goals, which has given fans plenty to cheer about."
