It has become common in recent years for Brentford players to visit West Middlesex Hospital in the days before Christmas. First Team and B Team playes have visited with gifts for patients young and old that will spend the festive period in our local hospital. Time has also been spent with the staff that will work over the Christmas holidays to keep everyone well.

With hospitals restricted due to the Covid-19 outbreak, our players have not been able to visit this year. But they still wanted to do their bit. Messages were recorded and sent to staff and included in a video shown to hospital workers. See it below.

The hospital, in Isleworth, is the closest to Brentford FC and is part of the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. It provides a range of specialist clinical services as well as general hospital services for people living locally, which include A and E and maternity. The Trust runs two main hospitals, Chelsea and Westminster and West Middlesex, and also offers a range of community-based services. It has 6,000 staff caring for nearly one million people in the area.
