Brentford midfielder Paris Maghoma has returned from a loan spell at AFC Wimbledon.

The 21-year-old spent the first half of the 2022/23 campaign with the Sky Bet League Two club.

He is currently recovering from injury and will complete his rehabilitation with the Bees.

Maghoma played 24 games for the Dons during his loan spell. He made 18 appearances in the league and started in 23 of his 24 appearances for the south west London side.

He leaves with Wimbledon 14th in a congested League Two table, four points outside the Play-Off places.

England youth international Maghoma joined the Bees in January 2020 from Tottenham Hotspur.

He was initially in the Brentford B squad but his first months with the Bees were interrupted by the Covid-19 outbreak and injuries.

He signed a new long-term contract at the start of 2022 and has been part of first team matchday squads during his time with Brentford, for four Premier League games last season.
