The young midfielder, who was involved in pre-season training with Thomas Frank’s First Team in the weeks leading up to the new campaign, has been impressive since joining Neil MacFarlane’s B Team in January 2020.

Paris has been involved with the England youth setup before, turning out for the under-16s and under-19s in recent seasons, but this will be his first taste of action for the under-20 age group as the call-up to Lee Carsley’s side represents further progression for the midfielder.

Paris netted his first Brentford B goal shortly after arriving as the side travelled to Portugal for three fixtures with the youngster netting a stunning strike against FC Astana.

Discussing the call-up for the youngster, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane said: “We brought Paris to the Club in January and we’ve worked really hard with him on a daily basis. In pre-season he was working with the First Team and did well against Derby County and West Ham.

"To get that recognition for England is fantastic for him, he’ll be working with a really good group of young players which will help to give him a confidence boost as well.”
