There's just one week until Kevin O'Connor and staff from Brentford Football Club Community Sports Trust take part in the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100.
Kevin has joined one of the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust relay teams who will work as a group to complete the 100 miles course starting in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and finishing on The Mall in Central London on 2 August.
They will be raising money for the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust to help employ a trainee to continue the Sports Trust's work.
The route sees riders travel through London before heading out into the beautiful Surrey countryside.
Ride London-Surrey 100 is one of a number of legacy event created by the London 2012 Olympics and will see 25,000 riders take part in various closed road cycling activities over the course of three days.
Distances range from 25 to 100 miles either as an individual rider, doing the whole route, or as part of a peloton relay team.
All riders, including Kevin, will be set a fundraising target minimum of £500 per rider for the 100 mile ride and £250 per rider in the peloton team event.
There is also a donations page where supporters can show their support by donating to Kevin and Team Brentford FC CST.
The Trust will be producing a special edition sponsored Team BFCCST cycling shirt that will feature the names of our business sponsors.
All riders will receive a commemorative shirt and will be invited on to the Griffin Park pitch during the 2015/16 season for an official presentation.
All funds raised through RIDE 100 will be invested back into Trust projects that support our variety of programmes tackling unemployment, disability, health, education and social inclusion.
