All UEFA Under-21 matches were officially postponed on Tuesday due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak, meaning there will be no action for some of our young stars this month.

Bryan Mbeumo was due to be part of the French Under-21 squad heading to Liechtenstein before welcoming Group B leaders Switzerland to the Stade Michel D'Ornano in Caen. The in-form winger, who has recorded an impressive 14 goals during his debut Sky Bet Championship campaign, earned his fifth cap for Les Bleuets in defeat to The Swiss last time out, a result which leaves them three points off top spot after four matches.

Brentford B goalkeeper Nathan Shepperd was in line for his first Wales Under-21 call-up following an impressive debut season. The 19-year-old joined from Swansea City during the summer and has been a key part of Neil MacFarlane's side in recent months. He would have been joining a Wales group preparing for games against Moldova and Germany in Group I.

Another goalkeeper who should have been preparing for international action is Patrik Gunnarsson. An ever present in qualifying so far, Patrik earned his first senior call-up for Iceland in January as they took on Canada. Iceland, who sit third in Group A, faced trips to group leaders Republic of Ireland as well as Armenia this month.

A quarter of Danish defenders, Mads Bech Sorensen, Luka Racic, Japhet Sery Larsen, and Mads Roerslev were all selected as The Danes looked to take their perfect record thus far to Romania on matchday six. Between them they have more than 100 caps at youth level for their nation and have all featured as Denmark have reeled off six straight wins in all games.

Also in Group H, Jaakko Oksanen was in the Iceland squad for a friendly against Hungary in Spain and then a qualifying trip to Malta. The 19-year-old has eight caps for his nation, featuring in their last four competitive matches, and has featured twice in Thomas Frank's side this term.

Last but not least, David Titov was included in the Latvia squad for a training camp on home soil followed by a trip south west to take on Poland in Group E. David has two caps at Under-21 level for a Latvia side that currently prop up their group.

As well as these nine, a further 15 First Team and B Team players were called-up to provisional squads ahead of this international break, or featured for their nation during the most recent set of fixtures in November.
