The B Team added three players to its ranks yesterday, Nikolaj Kirk among them. The Danish teenager joined on a season-long loan from FC Midtjylland and gave his first thoughts on life at Griffin Park to iFollow."I'm very happy to be here," said Nikolaj. "The first thing I saw when I arrived were the green pitches, they are very nice and clean. I'm just looking forward to playing on them."Brentford fans got to spectate at three stadium fixtures last season, Nikolaj explained what they can expect from him this term."I'm a technical midfielder," said Nikolaj. "As you can see I'm not so big but I try to use my technical strengths to compete."The Director of Midtjylland told me about this opportunity to get some playing time. Obviously, I moved out as a senior so I need some minutes on the field and he thought maybe I could get them at Brentford. I think it was a very good opportunity for me."The schedule during the 2016/17 campaign saw The Bees entertain Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City, as well as several foreign teams. Nikolaj was clearly pleased that the games programme was heading in the same direction this time round."I heard about all the training matches, and going to Germany playing against Bayern Munich and that is something I'm really looking forward to."I want to get better and better. I hope to do well enough so that I get to train for a little bit with the First Team. That's my goal, to get some experience."
