Brentford started the nine game run that will take them to the end of the Sky Bet Championship season with a 2-0 win at Fulham yesterday. Next up for The Bees is West Bromwich Albion. The Baggies will come to Griffin Park on Friday evening for a match that will be televised live by Sky Sports and will kick-off at 7.45pm.
Emiliano Marcondes came off the substitute’s bench to set up the first goal for Saïd Benrahma and score the second himself at Craven Cottage yesterday. That win left The Bees in fourth place in the Championship table, but they closed the gap on West Brom, who are one of only three teams above them. West Brom moved top of the table on goal difference with a draw against Birmingham City yesterday and stayed there as Leeds United lost to Cardiff City earlier today.
West Brom are eight points ahead of The Bees and seven clear of Fulham, who are third and who play Leeds next. So, it will be fourth hosting first on Friday night. The game will be behind closed doors, but fans can watch on Sky Sports or, for Season Ticket Holders, on iFollow.
Season Ticket Holders will have received an email from the Club with a code to redeem to watch games on iFollow. Full details about that email and what to do if you have not received it can be seen here. The game will also be available as an audio commentary for subscribers but cannot be bought as an individual match.
Fans who need to redeem their code can see details on how to do so below.
For some extra build-up to the game, tune in to The Run In at 6pm on Friday. The show, presented by Stu Wakeford and Marcus Gayle, will look at the week’s news and preview the match, as well as the one at Reading a few days later. The first episode featured Jonathan Douglas and Josh Dasilva and can be seen here.
