Brentford continue their packed schedule of Sky Bet Championship fixtures with a midweek trip to Sheffield Wednesday. The Bees started a run of seven games in 21 days with a 2-0 win over Coventry City yesterday. Ivan Toney scored twice as Brentford picked up their second win of the season and moved on to seven points from their opening five games. They will look for a first away win of the league season at Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday, 21 October.

Wednesday also won yesterday, picking up three points at Birmingham City. The only goal of the game was a second half penalty converted by Barry Bannan and it gave them a second win of the season. They, however, sit bottom of the Championship table after being given a 12-point deduction by the EFL.

Wednesday have eaten in to that deduction by taking eight points from five games and are now only four points behind Wycombe Wanderers, who sit next to bottom having lost their first five games. They have drawn both home games, against Watford and Queens Park Rangers, and have beaten Cardiff City in South Wales. Their only league defeat so far came at Bristol City.

The match kicks-off at 7.45pm on Wednesday and will, unfortunately, be behind closed doors. It will, however, be available live on Sky Sports. As per Club communication last week, those that froze their Season Tickets will be able to watch on iFollow Brentford. See more here.

Fans who do not have Sky Sports can access the game online via Now TV. Fans can pay for one-day access, which would also give them the ability to watch that day's other live sport. Alternatively there are longer passes available. See more here.
