Brentford picked up their third away win of the Premier League season at Norwich City last Saturday, 5 March, and will be looking to make it back-to-back victories this weekend. The Bees are back on home turf on Saturday, 12 March, when Burnley are the visitors. The game will kick-off at 3pm at our new stadium.

Saturday's win was secured thanks to an Ivan Toney hat-trick, which took him to nine Premier League goals for the season. It followed wins at Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United earlier this term. The Bees remain 15th in the table, with 27 points from 28 games. They are a point behind Newcastle United and six behind a group of four teams in the middle of the table, albeit most have games in hand.

Burnley come to West London 18th in the table, three places and six points worse off than Brentford, albeit having played two games fewer. They have suffered consecutive home losses to Leicester City and Chelsea. The latter of that pair was a 4-0 reverse on Saturday.

The Lancashire side had been in good form prior to that, losing just once in seven games. Burnley have only lost times this term, the same as Wolves, who sit eighth. They have drawn 12 Premier League games, no team has ended all square more often.

Burnley won the first game between the teams 3-1 at the end of October. Three first half goals secured the points for the hosts. Saman Ghoddos scored late on for The Bees.

This is Burnley's sixth successive Premier League season. They won promotion in 2015/16 and have had two top ten finishes in the last five years. They finished 17th last year with 39 points, their lowest since promotion.

That 2015/16 campaign was the last time the teams met. The Bees lost 1-0 at Turf Moor early in the season and then 3-1 at Griffin Park in January. Brentford last beat Burnley in September 1997 and have not won in seven since, losing the last five in a row, including an FA Cup tie in 2003.
