The first month of the Premier League season is complete and every team has played three games. The league campaign will now go on hold for a fortnight while players head off to play international matches. When the season resumes, Brentford will host Brighton and Hove Albion in a match that will be played on Saturday 11 September and kick-off at 3pm.

Brentford have had an unbeaten start to the season. An opening evening win over Arsenal was followed by back-to-back away draws against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa. The Villa draw, secured thanks to an Ivan Tony goal, leaves The Bees tenth in the early table.

Brighton are two places above The Bees as it stands. They won their first two games, away to Burnley and at home to Watford, but lost to Everton on Saturday. They also beat Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup.

This will be Brighton's fifth season in the Premier League and the teams last met in the 2016/17 campaign. The Bees had the better of it that year, winning away and drawing at Griffin Park. Brentford won three and lost one of six games between the teams when they were both in the second tier, while Brighton also won an FA Cup tie. Prior to that, The Bees won just one in seven games over a seven year spell.

Tickets are sold out online and we have less than 100 tickets available to purchase from the Box Office. Once these tickets are sold out, we will give Members the opportunity to buy tickets from our ticket exchange website. Read more about Brighton tickets here and the latest update here.

The match will not be live on UK TV but Brentford fans can listen live on Bees Player. Full information on the service can be seen here. Bees fans living overseas should check this page to see if they can watch the game live.
