The Welshman, who arrived in West London in the summer of 2019, has agreed a new deal with the young Bees and will remain as part of Neil MacFarlane’s squad ahead of the 2021/22 season.

The Wales Under-21 international has featured 35 times over the course of two campaigns for Brentford B. The youngster is the current captain for the side, and he has put in some impressive displays against the likes of Maidenhead United and Cambridge United in recent months.

His performances have earned the youngster multiple Wales Under-21 call-ups, featuring against the Republic of Ireland Under-21s in March this year, and he was also part of the squad this summer for their European Championship Qualifier with Moldova.

Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane is delighted to have secured Nathan for at least another season. He explained: “Nathan is the captain of the B Team for many reasons. He is outstanding for the culture, and he really drives the group. He is a terrific character, has high standards and demands of himself, and has been able to get himself international call-ups.

“He’s had really good training minutes with the First Team where he’s been able to support them which is really important from a B Team perspective. We’re really happy that he’ll be with us for another year. His aim now will be to get even more game time and continue with his development.”
