The picture above shows Stephen Hunt arriving to score the sixth goal of a thrilling game as Brentford took on Sheffield Wednesday in February 2005. The two teams were battling near the top of League One and Brentford had won the previous game between the teams at Hillsbrough, coming from a goal down with ten men to win 2-1 in December. Martin Allen's Bees were also days away from an FA Cup Fifth Round Replay against Southampton.

Lee Peacock scored twice as Wednesday went 2-0 up in the first half but Deon Burton halved the deficit before the break. A goal from Lee Bullen - now caretaker manager at Wednesday - gave the visitors a two-goal cushion again and they held that in to the last ten minutes. But Ryan Peters scored and then Hunt popped up with a late equaliser.

Brentford finished fourth in the final table with Wednesday fifth so the teams met again in the Play-Offs. This time it was Wednesday that came out on top. The Yorkshire side then beat Hartlepool United to win promotion.
