At Waterside Drive, two late goals denied Karleigh Osborne's side victory away at Walton Casuals. Having suffered a 2-1 opening day defeat to Crystal Palace Development it was again one goal which settled matters on Sunday. Nicole Goolab and Rebekah Wiltshire netted for The Bees, who led 2-1 at the interval, but late pressure from the hosts eventually proved decisive. Next Sunday, The Bees head to another side looking for their first points of the season, Luton Town Reserves.

For the Development Team, Shannon Read was once again the match-winner as her hat-trick saw off Civil Service at Kings House Sports Grounds. Read netted her first before the break and then made the game safe with a brace late on. Brentford face a stiff task next weekend, taking on a QPR Development side who have won both their opening games 12-1.

It’s never too late to get involved. We would encourage talented female footballers to give us a try by joining our Wednesday night training session in Southall.
