A minute's silence will be held before our Sky Bet Championship match with Norwich City on Saturday in memory of all those who lost their lives in the recent Colombian air disaster. The aircraft, which was carrying 77 people, crashed into a mountainside near the city of Medellin on Monday evening, with only six people on board surviving. Among those travelling on the plane were staff and players from Brazilian football team Chapecoense, as well as numerous journalists and flight crew.
The thoughts and prayers of all those at Brentford are with those affected by the tragedy and we ask our travelling supporters to join those from Norwich City in a pre-match show of respect for those who lost their lives.
As a further mark of respect, players from both sides will also wear black armbands for the game.
