Mathias Jensen is available for Brentford’s Premier League game against Nottingham Forest.

The midfielder was withdrawn during the first half of the Bees’ 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers, but head coach Thomas Frank confirmed that he has been training this week and is ready to play if selected.

Christian Nørgaard is ‘progressing well’ and could be involved at the City Ground.

Pontus Jansson (hamstring), Thomas Strakosha, Aaron Hickey (both ankle) and Charlie Goode (both knee) all remain sidelined.

Frank was addressing the media at his pre-match press conference at the Gtech Community Stadium.

He was full of praise for Forest head coach Steve Cooper and stressed that Saturday’s game will be another difficult test.

“I’ve been very impressed,” said Frank, “I’ve met Steve a few times in the Championship. He did a fantastic job at Swansea and made some really impressive results.

“To join Nottingham during the season and get them promoted through the Play-Offs - the most difficult way - is very impressive.

“It’s another difficult game. We’ve seen that they’ve made it very difficult for teams when they play at home. It’s a fantastic ground.

“The City Ground is a top place to go, with some very good fans.

“We know it’s going to be difficult, but I’m convinced that we’ll learn from our recent experiences [against Newcastle and Aston Villa].”
