The Bees go to South Wales in search of their fourth win in a row, following on from two 3-1 victories against Inter and Reading, as well as a 4-3 win over AC Milan last month.

Ellery Balcombe and Mads Bech Sørensen returned from international duty in the week, after playing for the youth teams of England and Denmark in Europe. Goalkeeper Ellery has made 17 appearances for the B Team this season, while Mads has 13 to his name.

Midfielder Bradley Clayton has the highest number of appearances; he’s on 19, the only squad member to play in every game for Kevin O’Connor this season. He’s closely followed by Raphael Assibey-Mensah and Herson Rodrigues Alves on 18, albeit the former’s appearances have mainly come from the bench.

Last time out, Brentford B included several First Team players in a 3-1 win over Reading’s U23s at Hogwood Park. Luke Daniels completed 90 minutes between the sticks while Lewis Macleod completed 60 minutes and got himself on the scoresheet. Alves and Assibey-Mensah also found the net.

For the past few games, Brentford have been without injured striker Marcus Forss and midfielder Reece Cole. Forss has made the journey but Cole hasn't travelled to Wales. The B Team are still without winger Henrik Johansson, however the Swedish youth international has been making strides in training and is hoping to be back in action in early 2018.
