The young Bees, fresh from their impressive 4-1 win over Leicester City Under-23s in midweek, will take on the National League side looking for a fourth consecutive win.
Maidenhead are fourth in their league table and are without a competitive fixture this weekend. United have begun their campaign well as they sit in fourth in the table following four consecutive victories. Alan Devonshire’s side have picked up 12 points so far with four wins and three defeats from their first seven matches.
Their last fixture on 31 October saw them beat Solihull Moors 3-1 at York Road with Sam Barratt netting a second half hat-trick for United.
Maidenhead play at York Road, which has a capacity of 4,500, and interestingly is acknowledged by The FA and FIFA as the oldest continuously used senior association football ground in the world by the same club. The stadium has been Maidenhead’s home since 1871.
Neil MacFarlane could well look to freshen up his squad following the win over Leicester with Valgeir Valgeirsson, who netted twice from the bench in midweek, impressing and Max Haygarth has also impressed after coming on as a second half substitute recently against the likes of Hendon, Aldershot and Leicester.
We fully intend to stream the fixture at York Road on our YouTube channel with a link to follow across social media and on the Club website shortly before kick-off.
There will also be live updates across social media as well as a match report and post-match interviews in the coming days.
