Referee: James Linington
Assistant Referees: Mark Russell and Lee Venamore
Fourth Official: Dean Whitestone
This will be James' tenth season as an EFL referee, having joined the list in 2008.
He is a familiar face at Griffin Park, having taken charge of last month's 4-3 defeat to Nottingham Forest. The Isle of Wight official's first two Brentford games were both 1-1 draws at Griffin Park, against Lincoln City and Darlington, during Andy Scott's 2008/09 League Two winning season. In total, he has taken charge of 12 Bees games, with Brentford winning three and drawing two.
Last season, James showed more yellow cards than any other Sky Bet Championship referee, 127 in total, alongside four reds and nine penalties in 29 games. This season has started in a similar vein with 36 yellows and four reds in ten matches.
