Manager Mark Warburton has narrowly missed out on the the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award.
He was nominated alongside Aitor Karanka (Middlesbrough), Steve McClaren (Derby County), and Neil Redfearn (Leeds United), who Brentford play on Saturday.
However, fellow nominee Aitor Karanka won the award for his side's outstanding start to the year.
Under his leadership, Middlesbrough won three league matches and drew one in January, plus recorded two FA Cup wins, the last over Manchester City at Eastlands in the Fourth Round.
It’s a double success for Boro as striker Lee Tomlin picked up the Player of the Month prize.
The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman, Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.
