The stopper came in for his league debut and watched on as Sergi Canos gave Brentford an early lead. However, Hull, who were second best for much of the game, levelled on the stroke of half-time through Jarrod Bowen. After the break, Luke's tangle with Fraizer Campbell saw him concede a penalty but he was equal to Harry Wilson's effort to keep the scores level, which was how it finished.

The goalkeeper's performance saw him take the Man of the Match prize, ahead of Alan Judge in second and Sergi Canos in third.
