Tariqe Fosu played in both Rotherham United’s games this week as they secured another point in their battle for Championship survival.

Fosu played the final 20 minutes on Tuesday in their 2-2 draw at home to already-promoted Burnley.

He then played the full 90 minutes on Saturday in the Millers’ 2-1 defeat at Bristol City, a result which leaves them three points above the drop zone with three to play.

There’s a huge clash on Thursday at the New York Stadium against fellow strugglers Cardiff City, before Middlesbrough visit on Bank Holiday Monday.

Halil Dervisoglu didn’t feature in the Burnley squad for that game last Tuesday, nor was he involved in the 2-1 defeat at home to QPR on Saturday. That defeat means the Clarets still haven’t wrapped up the title.

Aaron Pressley and Accrington Stanley have now lost four on the bounce to slip deeper into relegation trouble. Their latest defeats, 2-1 at home to Peterborough United and 1-0 away at Portsmouth, mean they are now three points from safety with three to play.

Pressley started that game against the Posh, before coming off the bench for the final 14 minutes at Fratton Park.

Stanley travel to Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night, before a huge clash at home to 22nd-place Cambridge United on Saturday.

Myles Peart-Harris started both games for already-relegated Forest Green Rovers this week. Peart-Harris played 73 minutes of their 0-0 draw at home to Fleetwood Town on Tuesday, before 70 minutes in a 3-1 El Glosico defeat to Cheltenham Town on Saturday.

Rovers’ penultimate game of the season comes this Saturday at home to Oxford United.

Ellery Balcombe missed both of Bristol Rovers' defeats this week due to injury. In his absence, he Gas were beaten 2-1 at home to Sheffield Wednesday and 2-0 away at Port Vale. Rovers travel to Peterborough United on Saturday.

Lachlan Brook played the final three minutes for Crewe Alexandra on Saturday as they were beaten 2-0 at home by League Two champions Leyton Orient. 18th-placed Crewe host Swindon Town on Saturday.

Mads Bech returned to the FC Groningen line up on Saturday as captain, only to see their home game against NEC abandoned after 18 minutes when a cup of beer thrown by a spectator hit the linesman. The top two meet on Wednesday in the first leg of the Danish Cup semi-final, before a home game against AGF in the league on Sunday for Bidstrup and his teammates.

In Sergi Canos’ absence, Olympiacos were beaten 3-1 by AEK Athens on Sunday to slip nine points off top spot in the Greek Superliga. Olympiacos visit fifth-placed Aris on Wednesday before hosting sixth-placed Volos on Sunday.
