Luke Norris scored twice as Boreham Wood picked up their second Blue Square Bet South win in four days last night.
The Development Squad striker is on loan at the Hertfordshire side and made his seventh appearance against Maidenhead United.
That meant he faced off against Development Squad defender Alfie Mawson, who is on loan with the Berkshire side.
It was Maidenhead that struck the first blow, taking the lead in the 16th minute.
But Luke equalised for Boreham Wood before half time and then scored the winner in the second half.
Boreham Wood are now fourth in the Blue Square Bet table while Maidenhead are tenth.
Development Squad defender Sam Griffiths played 90 minutes for Ryman Premier League Carshalton Athletic as they beat Enfield Town 3-2 on Tuesday night.
Sam made his fifth appearance for the Surrey side on the south coast and played in the heart of defence.
Brentford scholar Josh Clarke was also in the Carshalton team, starting on the right of midfield
Josh is in the second year of a two-year scholarship but qualifies for the Club’s Under-21 side due to his age and is at Carshalton on a work experience deal.
Carshalton started strongly, with Josh involved in much of their attacking play, but Enfield took the lead in the first half.
The Surrey side equalised from the penalty spot before half time and then scored twice early in the second half to take a 3-1 lead.
Enfield pulled one back but Carshalton took the win, which means they are now only three points from the safety line in the Ryman Premier League.
