Joel Valencia helped Legia Warsaw in to the next stage of the Europa League on his debut for the Polish side last night. Joel joined the reigning Ekstraklasa Champions, Legia Warsaw on a season-long loan earlier this month. His first appearance was in a Europa League Third Qualifying Round tie last night.

Joel played just over an hour as Legia beat Football Club Drita from Kosovoa 2-0 last night. Both goals were scored in the first half while Joel was on the pitch, playing wide on the left. Legia are now in the Play-Off Round and face Qarabağ Futbol Klubu, from Azerbaijan, next week for a place in the Group Stage in their next match.

Joel was the last of Brentford's players to be involved in midweek action. Jaakko Oksanen and Arthur Read played earlier in the week and you can read about their action here. They will be hoping for more game time this week with Jaakko pushing to be part of the AFC Wimbledon side who travel to Fleetwood this weekend in the Sky Bet League One and Arthur aiming to feature for Stevenage against Bradford City away from home in Sky Bet League Two.

Luka Racic could make a return for Northampton Town this weekend following a knock which saw him miss the win over Shrewsbury Town last time out. The Cobblers host Hull City and currently sit 7th having won one match and drawn the other from their first couple of games. Julian Jeanvier could get more minutes in Turkey for Kasımpaşa S.K. this Saturday when they travel to Hatayspor. Julian’s side are currently ninth in their league table and will be looking to climb higher with a win.

Patrik Gunnarsson’s Viborg FF play this Sunday against HB Køge. Their last match saw Patrik as an unused substitute for a Viborg side who sit second in the Danish First Division with two wins and one draw, with their opponents sixth in the table.
