After starting Saturday's victory over Sky Bet League One side Bristol Rovers, Theo was named on the bench for the visit to Edgar Street. Farrend Rawson and Harry White traded goals either side of the interval as the National League North newcomers held their own.

However, a brace from Reuben Reid, the second of which came from a corner won by Theo, settled the match and wrapped up a fourth win in seven pre-season games this season for Mark Cooper's side.

Rovers have two games in two days this weekend as they finalise preparations for the new campaign. Firstly, they take on Shortwood United on Friday night before travelling to North Wales to take on Wrexham on Saturday afternoon ahead of their season opener at Grimsby Town in nine days time.
