Will Grigg endured a frustrating evening as Milton Keynes Dons were held 1-1 at Glanford Park to miss out on the Sky Bet League One top spot.

The Dons went into the game on a run of one defeat in 16 league matches but fell behind just before the hour as Tom Hopper tapped home after Lee Martin's goal-kick had gone straight to Paddy Madden.

Kyle McFadzean did rescue a point for Karl Robinson's side 20 minutes later but they could not find a winner.

Will was substituted in the dying seconds as MK remain third, two points behind league leaders Swindon Town.

Next up for Karl Robinson's side is a trip to struggling Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.

Will was the only Brentford player in action out on loan this midweek but there is a full programme of fixtures this weekend for The Bees' loanees.

Alfie Mawson and Courtney Senior will look to maintain Wycombe Wanderers' Sky Bet League Two lead when they host Portsmouth at Adams Park.

In the Vanarama South Tyrell Miller-Rodney and Boreham Wood host Basingstoke Town while in the same division Gradi Milenge's Farnborough travel to Sutton United.

Elsewhere Mark Smith and Hampton and Richmond Borough visit Leiston while Kieran Morris and Stourbridge host Matlock Town.

Montell Moore and FC Midtjelland are currently in Portugal on a ten-day Training Camp during the Danish mid-season break.
