Ellery got another 90 minutes under his belt, and no doubt a great deal of experience. They will now prepare to take on Blackpool on Tuesday evening.

In the same division Dom Thompson and Swindon Town picked up an important win with Scott Twine grabbing a winner against Crewe Alexandra in the 94th minute at The County Ground. It was a game where Swindon had to come from behind to claim the points, and it was another 90 minutes for Dom.

Jaakko Oksanen played the final 12 minutes for AFC Wimbledon in their defeat to Peterborough. Sammie Szmodics grabbed two goals before Jonson Clarke-Harris found the net in the 90th minute for United.

In Sky Bet League Two Stevenage came from behind to draw 1-1 with Walsall at home. The away side netted through Caolan Lavery in the first minute of the game, and they were reduced to 10-men when Liam Kinsella was sent off. Elliott List then ensured Stevenage would claim a point when he grabbed the equaliser on 80 minutes. Arthur Read was an unused substitute on the day and they will now prepare to take on Port Vale on Tuesday.

As for Joe Adams, his Grimsby Town side had their match away at Exeter City postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

On foreign soil, there was recent game time for Patrik Gunnarsson when he played 90 minutes in Silkeborg IF’s 3-0 win over Kolding IF in the Danish First Division. Stefán Teitur Þórðarson found the net before two goals from Nicklas Helenius confirmed the win. The side are now third in the table, five points off Esbjerg in second. The two sides go against each other on Thursday in what looks set to be an interesting encounter.

In Turkey, Galatasaray beste Alanyaspor 1-0 away from home with the only goal of the game coming on 18 minutes from Emre Kılınç. Halil Dervişoğlu wasn’t involved for the side who are now top by three points, though Beşiktaş who sit second, have a game in hand. Galatasaray will now take on Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurum Spor Kulübü on Saturday. Also in Turkey, Kasımpaşa S.K. beat Fatih Karagümrük S.K. 3-2 and Julian Jeanvier wasn’t involved due to a long-term injury. The side are currently 14th in the league table.

In Poland Legia Warsaw beat Wisła Płock 5-2 at home in the Ekstraklasa. The side went ahead on 10 minutes and doubled their lead six minutes later. They then went 3-0 up five minutes before the break then Wisla hit back with two strikes before the half-time whistle. With the score at 3-2 going into the second half, Legia furthered their lead with another goal on 49 minutes before Luquinhas grabbed his second 10 minutes from time. Legia now sit top by one point. Joel Valencia was an unused sub in the match.
