Patrik Gunnarsson made his debut for Viborg FF in their 3-0 win over HB Køge as he kept a clean sheet away from home on Sunday afternoon. Sebastian Grønning netted twice for the side before Jakob Bonde netted the third in the Danish First Division.
There was also action for Luka Racic as his Northampton Town side were beaten 2-0 at home to Hull City, who have started the season strongly. Keane Lewis-Potter and George Honeyman did the damage for the away side in a match where Luka played 84 minutes in Sky Bet League One.
Also, in English football’s third tier, Jaakko Oksanen made his first league start in a 1-0 win away from home for AFC Wimbledon at Fleetwood. Steve Seddon got the all-important goal for The Dons who then had to defend resolutely to protect their three points as they sit eighth in the league table following their first three matches.
There was Sky Bet League Two game time for Arthur Read who played 71 minutes for Stevenage away from home at Bradford City in a match where the away side actually took the lead through Elliott List. Two second half goals from Lee Novak, though, ensured that the home side would claim the three points. Stevenage now have four points from their first three games.
As for our other loan players, Julian Jeanvier wasn’t involved for Kasimpasa as they lost 1-0 to Hatayspor, whilst there was no game for Joel Valencia’s Legia Warsaw.
