Jota made his SD Eibar debut as a substitute on Sunday as the Basque side lost 5-2 away at Athletic Bilbao in La Liga. José Luis Mendilibar's side were 4-2 behind when Jota came on with just over half an hour to play and any hope of a comeback was snuffed out by a late own goal by Mauro Dos Santos. The defeat, Eibar's first in five league matches, leaves them sixth in La Liga with 33 points from 21 matches. Next up is a home game against Malaga on Saturday evening.

Mark Smith had a day to forget on his Lowestoft Town debut as FC United of Manchester ran out 6-1 winners in the National League North. Chris Chantler broke the deadlock before Tom Greaves and Lewis Lacy gave the Reds a 3-0 halftime lead. Sam Madeley was next on the scoresheet before Danny Crow pulled one back for Town. Substitutes Greg Daniels and Craig Lindfield completed the rout.

Jermaine Udumaga was a late substitute for Wycombe Wanderers as they were beaten 2-0 by Leyton Orient at Adams Park to slip out of the Sky Bet League Two Play-Off places. After an uninspiring first hour The Os took the lead through Jay Simpson and the win was completed in the final minute thanks to Calaum Jahraldo-Martin's calm finish.
