Brentford defender Ji-soo Kim scored his first Kaiserslautern goal in a 7-0 win over RSV Eintracht in the DFB-Pokal.
The centre-back, who is on a season-long loan in Germany, headed in their third goal from a corner, securing their place in the second round of the German Cup.
In League Two, Ben Krauhaus assisted Bromley's second goal in their 2-2 draw with Fleetwood Town.
A Krauhaus cross from the left was headed home by Nicke Kabamba, before a stoppage-time strike from Fleetwood levelled things up.
The midfielder also featured in the Carabao Cup last week, playing 77 minutes in the eventual penalty-shootout win over Championship side Ipswich Town.
Elsewhere in the EFL, Ryan Trevitt played 90 minutes as Wigan Athletic beat Peterborough United 2-0 at DW Stadium on Saturday, which saw the Latics record their second league win in three games this term.
Trevitt also played in a Carabao Cup win last week, starting against Notts County in a 1-0 victory.
Ethan Brierley also played 90 minutes as Exeter City were beaten 2-1 by Mansfield Town. A late goal at St James Park secured a win for the visitors.
