Daniel O'Shaughnessy enjoyed a good debut for National League side Braintree Town as they beat Woking 2-1 to climb into the Play-Off places.
The Brentford defender was introduced at half-time with the score 0-0 as Town took the lead through Simeon Akinola just after the hour. Keiran Murtagh levelled for the visitors five minutes later but the match was settled with a quarter of an hour to play when Michael Cheek scored from close range as Braintree leapfrogged Woking and into the Play-Off places.
Herson Rodrigues Alves was an unused substitute as Hampton and Richmond Borough drew 3-3 at Dulwich Hamlet in an enthralling contest at Champion Hill.
Charlie Moone put Borough ahead before Damian Scannell and Kevin James scored inside 60 seconds to give the hosts the lead. Dean Sinclair levelled for Borough a minute before the break and Alan Dowson's side then went ahead through Richard Paquette five minutes after the break. However they couldn't hold on as former Bee Callum Willock scored late on to leave Hampton and Richmond Borough ninth in the Ryman Premier League.
Two goals in three first-half minutes from Callum Saunders condemned Lewes and Nik Tzanev to defeat away at Burgess Hill Town last night. Lewes took an early lead through Jay Lovett but Saunders' turned the game midway through the half with two calm finishes. Burgess dominated the second-half but Nik made a string of important saves to keep Lewes in the game until the final whistle. The defeat means Lewes stay in the Ryman Premier League drop zone.
