Dresden made the 350 mile trip West to the Wildparkstadion only to fall behind to bottom of the table Karlsruher after just seven minutes: Oskar Zawada with the goal. In a crazy start to the game, Dynamo then missed a penalty three minutes later before levelling almost immediately after that through Jannik Müller.

It was then Andy's turn to get involved in the action as he gave Dresden the lead ten minutes before the break from the penalty spot. Two minutes later he had his second, firing home from the left-hand edge of the penalty area. The points appeared to be secure ten minutes from time when Müller got his second but Karlsruher had other ideas. Zawada got his second with a minute to play before Gaetan Krebs struck from the spot to set up a nervy finale.

The brace took Andy into double figures for the season after an impressive campaign with Dynamo which has seen him net ten goals, and two assists, in 21 league matches. The season ends for Andy and Dresden next Sunday with a home game against DSC Arminia Bielefeld.

Elsewhere in Germany, Jan Holldack played the 90 minutes as SV Wuppertaler drew 0-0 for the second week running, this time at home to Bonner. The on-loan midfielder was at the heart of SVW's attacking threat, coming close to breaking the deadlock on a couple of occasions. The draw means that Wuppertaler remain without a win in two months as their poor end to the season continues. SVW face a final day trip to Borussia Monchengladbach II hoping to end the season on a brighter note.
