Lasse Vibe was a late withdrawl from the Denmark team as they lost on penalties in the Semi-Final of the Kirin Cup to Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning. The Bees striker was initially named in Åge Hareide's starting line-up but had to pull out in the warm-up due to injury.
Denmark opened the scoring in the first-half through skipper Simon Kjaer and they looked to be heading for next week's final when Vibe's replacement, and new Middlesbrough signing, Victor Fischer added a second before the break. However Bosnia hit back within five minutes of the restart when Milan Duric headed past Kasper Schmeichel. Despite being reduced to ten men for the final 15 minutes, The Bosnians levelled late on, again through Duric, before booking their place in the final, where they will face hosts Japan, after a 6-5 win on penalties.
