Brentford scholar Kyjuon Marsh-Brown saw his hopes of playing in the 2016 Olympic Games end this week. The 17-year-old was in the Antigua and Barbuda squad for the first stage of a lengthy qualifying process for the football tournament at the games, which are a little more than a year away and will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

He did not play as Antigua lost 3-2 to Cuba on Sunday, 28 June. That means they were knocked out of the competition and cannot reach the Olympics.

Kyjuon has been with the Antigua and Barbuda squad for much of the summer as the Caribbean nation plays World Cup and Olympic qualifying matches. He is yet to make his international debut.
