Nadia Peters' double wasn't enough as Brentford Women's conceded twice in the final 20 minutes as Kingstonian came from behind to win 3-2 at Kew Association on Sunday.

Having lost ground in the Greater London Women's Football League Division One promotion race in recent weeks, The Bees knew that three points were a must against their mid-table rivals. Unfortunately for Ryan Peters' side things couldn't have started worse as defensive indecision allowed Kingstonian to take the lead within 90 seconds.

However, The Bees turned things round before half-time. Firstly, Peters took advantage of a loose ball inside the Kingstonian box to find the back of the net. She then doubled her goal tally for the season shortly after as Jenn Amols Brett's dangerous corner wasn't cleared and she was on hand to turn home from close range.

The Bees looked comfortable with the lead in the second 45 minutes and could have added to their tally as Lauren Rabbitts skimmed the bar with a header and Mollie Holmes shot narrowly over from long-range. Those missed opportunities would prove to be costly as Kingstonian netted twice in the final quarter of the match. Firstly, a deep cross deceived everybody and found the back of the net before a rare error from Roxy Clark allowed Kingstonian to complete the turnaround as a long-range shot squirmed past the keeper. The result leaves Brentford in fourth ahead of next Sunday's home game against Bromley LFC.

In Division Three South, Brentford Development played out a 0-0 draw with Actonians' Ladies at Lampton School. The Bees had the better of the game and went close to taking all three points with Naomi Totten and Eilidh Short's efforts. The point leaves the Development Team eighth in the table with a trip to title-chasing South London Women to look forward to next Sunday.
