Brentford Development Squad defender Kieran Morris has returned from his loan at Evo-Stick Northern Premier League Stourbridge.

The 19-year-old has been at Stourbridge since December and played seven games.

Stourbridge won three of those and lost three, keeping three clean sheets.

Kieran picked up an injury in a game early in 2015, just after extending his loan in to a second month, and has not played since.

Ose Aibangee, Brentford Academy Director, said: “It was unfortunate that Kieran picked up an injury when he was playing well and getting regular football.

“It was his first chance to play First Team football and Stourbridge were keen to keep him for the second month after a good start to his loan.

“He still got games under his belt at a good non-league level and will have learned a lot.

“Kieran is close to fitness now and may well go back out on loan if we can find the right move for him.”

Kieran had been on the books of Stourbridge at youth level before joining Brentford.

He signed a new one-year contract in last summer after originally joining The Bees in 2013.

The centre back played for England Schoolboys in the Under-18 Centenary Shield and England Colleges in 2012/13, as well as playing for Brentford at Youth Team and Development Squad level before making the permanent switch to West London.

Kieran played nine times for the Development Squad in 2013/14 and has added another nine Under-21 Professional Development League Two appearances this season, mostly as a substitute.
